The manufacturing price of large blow molding machine tools is relatively high, accounting for a large proportion of fixed assets investment. The blow molding factory has a large economic benefit in the maintenance and maintenance of the mold, and it is also an important guarantee for stabilizing and improving the quality of the blow molded products.
1 routine maintenance and maintenance measures
1) Perform blow air drainage maintenance on the replaced blow mold. In the process of product setting, the heat of the blow mold is mainly carried away by the cooling water. Due to the adjustment of the production of the product, the mold often needs to be replaced. The blown mold that has been replaced should be blown and drained as soon as possible to prevent the mold from rusting due to the cooling water in the mold cooling channel. During operation, a hose may be used to connect the compressed air to the inlet and outlet of the cooling water to blow the water in the cooling water channel.
2) Refueling the guide post and guide bush of the mold to prevent rust of the alignment device of the mold.
3) Anti-rust treatment of the mold cavity required for blow molding high surface quality. The general process of anti-rust treatment is to spray anti-rust oil or apply lubricating oil and grease.
4) Blowing and venting the vent hole of the mold to prevent clogging of the vent hole.
5) Repair the worn and damaged parts of the mold to restore the original dimensional accuracy.
6) Place the mold in a safe, stable and dry place to prevent moisture rust or unsafe accidents.
2 Precautions for maintenance and maintenance of blow molds
1) Prevent collision accidents when lifting the mold, and it is especially necessary to prevent the position of the slit and the cavity of the collision mold. If these parts are collided, the mold may be permanently deformed, and even after repair, there will always be impressions that will affect the surface quality of the product. In particular, blow molding dies that form high-quality surfaces require more attention.
2) For molds that are not used for a long time, it is necessary to check regularly, and the rust-proof treatment of the surface of the mold cavity should be carried out reasonably. The molds for forming high-quality surfaces should be paid more attention. It must take time to cover the mold.
3) Different placement of different molds to prevent deformation or damage of the mold. For example, for large-scale blow molds with high-precision surfaces, it is necessary to put the two half-side molds together for flat laying, and place the channel steel or wood under the mold to ensure that the mold does not deform; Blow molds with low surface quality requirements can be placed in the mold storage rack.
4) Do not use hard objects to strike and impact the mold cavity to prevent deformation of the cavity.
5) Sort the molds so that the lifting, assembly and other work can be carried out smoothly.
